It’s the new pocket sized entry level ereader that may be this years hottest holiday gift. The new Kindle from Amazon is lightweight, slim, and fast. On September 28th Amazon launched it’s new line-up of smart e-readers to the world. The main attraction was the Kindle Fire, Amazon’s new full featured tablet, but another surprise was the stripped down $79 price point Kindle standard. This new design literally fits in your pocket while still offering you a 6″ screen for reading your favorite books. Now unlike its more expensive counterparts it does not come 3g ready, you will still need a wifi hotspot to download new content. The new high speed wifi connection boasts a 60 second book download time which is fairly impressive, but this still means you will have to set-up networking wherever you are trying to find a new read.
